Although I told myself that I wasn’t going to buy any fabric this year, that hasn’t worked out (not even a little bit). Anywhoo, I did buy some spring floral fabrics from Joann Fabrics and G Street Fabrics this past week. I also bought about 5 patterns recently for tops and dresses. But on the good side (or better side), I did start and finish a light-weight robe for myself this past Saturday. This should be great for spring and summer. Otherwise, I have plenty to keep me busy!
Completed Simplicity 3789
I just finished the blouse I was making. YEAH! I am still on track to complete my goal of one garment a month. Here’s pictures of the front and back.

Right now I’m working on View F of Simplicity 3789. I’m probably about half-way through this. I have never made this pattern, even though I’ve had it for years. I’m using a cotton blend shirting fabric from Joann Fabrics (also something that I’ve had for a couple of years). I’m really trying to make at least one garment a month. My time is running out for April, so I hope to stay motivated.
